Dr. Chuanlan Liu was awarded a Pilot Funding for New Research (Pfund) competitive grant. It is co-sponsored by the National Science Foundation and the Louisiana State Board of Regents. Her research proposal entitled “Diffusion of environmentally responsible consumption: a cross-cultural comparison of consumer adoption of technology-enabled, environmentally friendly textile and apparel products,” has been recommended for funding. *****************

Dr. Fran Lawrence is featured in the winter 2009 edition of LSU Alumni Magazine. The story, on page 52, is a profile of her career at LSU. Lawrence was instrumental in establishing LSU's Student Financial Management Center.
