Auto-Chlor Services, Inc. Scholarship
Recipients must be enrolled in dietetics. Selection is made on
the basis of financial need; however, outstanding past scholastic
performance must be the main criterion. Recipient must maintain
a 3.0 GPA, must be a full-time student, and must complete the degree
program on schedule.
Baton Rouge Business and Professional Woman's Club Scholarship
Recipient selected on the basis of scholastic achievement and must
maintain a 3.0 GPA and full time status in the undergraduate or
graduate program.
Bonnie Cecilia Burns Babin Endowed Scholarship
Recipients must be either a full-time student or a part-time student
carrying at least six (6) semester hours and must be working at
least twenty (20) hours per week. Recipients must be at least a sophomore-level
student at LSU enrolled in the College of Agriculture's School of
Human Ecology. The recipient must have an overall grade point average
of 3.0 or better and show evidence of leadership ability and teamwork.
Dorothy C. Howell Alumni Scholarship
Selection is based on high school academic standing as evaluated
by ACT scores, class rank, and GPA of incoming freshmen. Recipient
must show evidence of the desire to improve the quality of family
living. Must maintain at least a 2.5 GPA for the first semester
and retain full-time status.
Leona Johns Littlefield Scholarship
Recipient shall be a full-time student or a part-time student carrying
at least six (6) credit hours per semester and working at least
twenty (20) hours per week. Recipient must be a junior level student
at LSU enrolled in human nutrition and food in the College of Agriculture's
School of Human Ecology with an overall grade point average of 3.5
or better.
Nicole Melissa Munn Memorial Scholarship
Recipient is awarded on the basis of merit to a full or part time
student with a rank in the upper 30% of his/her class in the School
of Human Ecology with at least a 3.4 GPA in major subjects. Recipient
must exhibit a mature approach to scholastic work and a mature approach
to relationships with others.
Rhoads and Squires Scholarship
Recipient must be a full-time undergraduate student who is a resident
of Louisiana and enrolled in the School of Human Ecology majoring
in human nutrition and foods. Recipient must have an overall grade
point avers of at least 3.0 for college work.
Maude Ryder Scholarship
Recipient must be deserving student in Human Ecology with demonstrated
financial need.
Susanne Thompson Scholarship
Recipient must be undergraduate full-time student pursuing a degree
in human ecology. Major consideration is financial need. Scholarship,
leadership, and professional potential are also considered.
